One of the sites we follow for tracking the latest developments in careers communications is the US Army. Their budgets are capacious, and they’re definitely in the business of winning hearts and minds – in this situation, those of job seekers and their mates.
We see an important trend here in the duplication of careers information to the Facebook area as well as on the corporate site. The user can look at jobs—and apply—all from Facebook. The US Army Facebook page illustrates this trend exceptionally well. And don’t just look at the landing page: there’s a complete site there, and all well integrated back to the main website.
